The best essays are authentic and display high levels of self-awareness. Schools look for evidence of leadership, teamwork, and excellent accomplishments in addition to goal clarity.

MBA colleges are very interested in the extracurricular/co-curricular/out-of-workplace activities that a student engages in. While several extracurricular activities are very common, universities look for the link between academics and extracurriculars.
