My Journey with August Academy:
Pursuing an MBA from an esteemed institution had always been my goal but how to achieve it was a question which I started to comprehend on only after taking the GMAT. For me it had always been that GMAT was the real monster and once that was over the rest would be a walk in the park. Surprisingly, that was not the case. After spending days and weeks on figuring out which school should be best or where I could apply with the given score, I still remained nearly clueless.
It was at this point that a friend was going through with the same process and he recommended August Academy to me and told me about Karthik. I still remember why I was so inclined to be under Karthik’s guidance even before meeting him. It was Karthik’s pride in his students and his friendly and understanding nature that stuck me most from my friend’s account of him.
The rapport required between a counselor and his counselee is something Karthik values and takes care of. My journey with him was more of a self-discovery. He made me realize the real reason for doing an MBA and helped me find the purpose of the course which best suited me. He always believed in me and was ready to help me with applications even when faced with extreme and stringent deadlines.
